Sisters Uptown Bookstore

We partnered with Overlay Office and Parc Office as part of Design Advocates to assist Sisters Uptown Bookstore, a minority woman owned store in Washington Heights, with making much needed updates to the building storefront. Design Advocates is a collection of architects and designers who collaborate on efforts to serve the public good through pro bono projects, research, and advocacy. Our team is designing a new storefront with added glazing and a built in bookshelf-bench that allows visitors to browse and sit outside.
